Three days after the Intervention #4 I decided to take the thread out of my skin and put it through needles which were placed on a wooden board where the walls of Nicosia map and the dividing line are painted on. The dividing line on this map is drawn with red color and divides the city in two parts according to the topographic aerial view of Nicosia map. 40 needles corresponds to the 40 times of passing the needle through the skin, and are placed along this painted line with the red thread passing through them, while reminding the walk along the green line and the sewed hand as an archived memory of the walk/ action that was transported from the skin to the wooden board.
